David Fox – Owner/Operator

Dave is the owner and operator of Fox Run Farms. A native Texan, Dave learned his horsemanship in Oregon. He and his horse Zipnotist (Hudi), won Reserve Champion at the Oregon Appaloosa Breeders Association show in Salem. Not bad for his (Dave’s) first year of showing! He moved back to Texas with the dream of clearing his land, getting a horse barn built, and moving his horse to Texas. Dave’s other passions include being a volunteer firefighter, playing the bagpipes, and reading. His paying job is for a major telecom company in Richardson.
Bob Fox – Chief Mechanic/Equipment Operator
Bob is no stranger to the farm. A native Texan, he was raised on a farm in Central Texas, operating not only mechanized machinery, but also horse drawn implements. He has worked on and operated a variety of tractors and combines, which gives him the unique ability to keep Tilly running. A former airline pilot, Bob enjoys (we hope), coming out and working at Fox Run Farms. He is also restoring a 1929 Model A pickup to parade condition. He’s enjoyed listening to Dave’s stories of working horses in Oregon, but he still prefers his mules.
Pat Fox – Landscaping Team Supervisor
Yet another native Texan, Pat is very well accustomed to the North Texas soil. Her family lived in and around the Sherman/Bonham/Trenton/Leonard areas. If you look carefully, you’ll still find her relatives around. Raised mostly as a “city girl”, she has picked cotton and helped her father farm the black North East Texas soil. She is also a great cook, frequently providing a healthy lunch on working days so that Dave doesn’t die of malnutrition. Being the Landscaping Team Supervisor, she also monitors the working team’s water intake during the hot Texas summers and providing cold water when they need it.
