I hope everyone had a great Labor Day holiday! Fox Run Farms celebrated by barely doing any work! With the recent burn ban, there isn’t too much new stuff that we can do. Most of the work is maintenance type work, but we do occasionally get some real work done.
Last post, I mentioned something about the “Last Rose of Summer”. Well, it appears that it wasn’t the last rose. Check out what the iceberg rose has done! I guess she doesn’t want to be outdone!
Not much else is going on at the Farm. Our armadillo friend is still digging up the soil and the roadrunners are still running the road (and pasture). Hopefully, the burn ban will be lifted soon and we’ll get back to work.
One final item of note…we’ve started talking to a local dressage trainer who might be interested in coming out here to train. I’ll have more information as we progress.
